The bearing is enclosed in a stainless steel bearing housing. The 15 mm thick aluminium top plate is made from aerospace-grade anodised 7075 aluminium. The precision bearing has a diameter of 16 or 20 mm. Buying the top mounts is not mandatory with Intrax dampers, as you may have a specific requirement or simply already have quality top mounts.
