Preparing a BMW 135i or 1M E82 for the track
Short, powerful and light, the E82 is a very effective trackday base, both as a 135i and as a 1M. The two share many parts, but not all of them: always check 135i / 1M compatibility on each product page.
1. Braking
Pagid RSL1, RSL29, Ferodo or PFC 08 pads, and a cooling kit. To go further: the Brembo GTS kit on the 135i, the AP Racing PRO5000R kit or Brembo Pista on the 1M.
2. Chassis
Bump steer / roll center spacers, rear arm spherical bearings, Millway end links. For damping: INTRAX, electronically controlled TracTive or KW adjustable springs.
3. Engine and maintenance
Mosselman oil thermostat to keep oil temperature in check, MMX ignition coils, Motul maintenance pack. Racing Division VR5, Pista or NÜR wheels for the 1M. Any questions? Get in touch.
