INTRAX Suspension BMW M3 E36

From €4.049,00
Alpha Pack BMW M3 E36

For experienced drivers. The Alpha Pack takes the Beta Pack and moves up to INTRAX suspension.

1: INTRAX suspension

High-end coilovers from Dutch manufacturer INTRAX, derived from motorsport, adjustable for ride height and damping. They replace the coilovers in the Omega and Beta packs.

2: Solid front control arm bushings

The stock control arm bushings filter the road, but their softness hurts front-end precision. Solid bushings restore the car's precision, whereas polyurethane eventually cracks under the stresses of track use.

3: Adjustable camber arms

They replace stock parts of questionable stiffness that flex under load, and allow the rear camber to be set for the track.

4: Solid rear subframe mounts

BMW adopted them on the M3 E92 GTS and the M5 F10 Competition. They prevent movement between chassis and subframe and help stiffen the rear axle.

5: Rear trailing arm spherical bearings

With age, the stock bushings crack and let the trailing arms move during spirited driving, right down to braking. With spherical bearings, the geometry stays stable.

6: Adjustable anti-roll bar end links

They remove any residual preload in the anti-roll bar after corner weighting.

7: Rear upper arms for coilover conversion

As standard, the rear axle has separate springs and dampers. These arms convert it to true coilovers, without risky modifications.

8: Eccentric rear suspension spherical bearings

On a lowered car, the roll center drops and the lever arm to the center of gravity gets longer, which needlessly loads the suspension. Eccentric spherical bearings correct the roll center and let the springs work normally.

9: Rear suspension arm spherical bearings

As grip increases, the last remaining bushings compress and rebound like springs. With spherical bearings, the arms keep a stable geometry and eliminate the small steering corrections.
