Preparing a Porsche Cayman GT4 718 for the track

Naturally aspirated mid-engine, precise gearbox, well-sorted chassis: the Cayman GT4 718 is already highly refined straight from the factory. Preparing it for the circuit is therefore not about transforming it, but about opening up the geometry adjustment range, making the brakes last a full session and tailoring the damping to your use. 1. Geometry: the Omega pack

As standard, the available front camber is limited for running semi-slicks. Our Omega pack combines Porsche Motorsport components and Millway precision shims: front top mounts with increased camber and caster, 10 mm camber shims and adjustable rear toe arms. 2. Damping: TracTive

Team Lupos is the exclusive Tractive distributor. TracTive electronically controlled coilovers replace the stock dampers plug & play and let you adjust the road / track compromise without changing hardware. The full range is on the Tractive page.

3. Braking

The first lever is pads and fluid: Pagid RSL1 or RSL29, Endless ME20, Ferodo DS Uno or DS2500 depending on your level and tyres, with Motul RBF fluid. For intensive use, Girodisc or PFC V3 rotors, and the Essex / AP Racing PRO5000R big brake kit.

4. Tyres and equipment

To drive often without blowing the budget, the Vitour P1 Tempesta is a 200TW tyre that stays consistent over several sessions.
