Preparing a BMW M235i / M240i F22 F23 for the track
The M235i (N55) and M240i (B58) share their platform with the M2: a generous engine, a short wheelbase and real potential on track, provided the engine is made reliable and the front axle is upgraded.
1. Engine reliability
On the M235i (N55), the MMX oil pan baffle kit prevents the oil pump from losing prime under braking. For cooling: Mosselman oil thermostat, CSF oil cooler, DO88 intercooler and DO88 charge pipes.
2. Chassis: the M2 front axle
The M2 front axle kit bolts straight onto the F22/F23. Complete it with Millway parts (toe arms, adjustable top mounts, spherical bearings), bump steer spacers and INTRAX or ST XTA Plus 3 damping.
3. Braking
Endless ME20, Pagid or Ferodo pads, Goodridge brake lines and a cooling kit.
4. Wheels and maintenance
Racing Division Pista or NÜR wheels, Motul maintenance packs suited to the N55 or B58. Any doubts? Use the configurator or get in touch.
