Millway rear thrust arm BMW M2 F87
On M cars since the E9x, and by extension on the F8x, the chassis's traction, or its ability to slide on demand, is directly linked to its 5-link design, and more specifically the part that determines this is the traction arm.
From the factory, the F8x arm has a ball joint on one side only, unlike the rest of the range — a very good intention on Munich HQ's part — but this thrust arm, which indirectly controls suspension travel, has a bush that "absorbs" some of the power trying to reach the ground, and if you add the ability to adjust this arm, you start to affect the rear axle anti-squat.
As this function is complex, we supply this arm pre-set to the correct length.
These parts, designed and manufactured by Millway in Sweden, go beyond the limitations with a wide adjustment range and uncompromising choices for durability:
- Lightweight and strong materials (anodised aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminium )
- Motorsport-quality ball joints
- Adjustable and supplied pre-set to our specs

The Team Lupos view:
"When we recommend chassis upgrades for a car that already has a solid base, this part is the ideal complement to a diff riser with the 2 solid bushes, but you should also be aware that removing bushes brings more noise into the cabin... that's the price of performance upgrades! "
