During long track sessions, or spirited drives on back roads, have you ever seen the oil temperature needle rise quickly? Or even a message on the on-board computer?

The S54 is generally fairly stable in temperature, but with age it is sometimes less stable than it used to be, and the factory-fill Castrol oil is also a little marginal for coping with these demands.

The solution is to optimise the cooling of your fluid with an uprated, well-exposed cooler. No bodging and no approximate fitment.

This DO88 cooler is an important ally to avoid the experience of driving without power steering. If you are on a limited budget, start with this one. It will limit heat build-up when pushing hard or in high temperatures.
