MMX modular differential riser - BMW M3 M4 G80 G82
- The MMX front differential riser mount/cradle
-
The MMX raised polyurethane rear differential bush set
Together, they offer a unique solution on this chassis: reduce driveline movement at stock height, or raise the differential by 10 mm to correct the axle geometry and, above all, the strain on the driveshafts on lowered vehicles.
The system essentially consists of two components. The original mounting points are retained
- The MMX front differential riser mount/cradle: replaces the original front differential mount
- The MMX raised polyurethane rear differential bush: replaces the original rear bush.
Precision-machined, both components install directly with no modification and are designed to work at stock height or with a +10 mm lift.
4-point configuration
For the optimal configuration, the two previous products are complemented by the MMX dual differential mount and a second raised polyurethane rear differential bush. Adding a fourth mounting point gives greater control over differential movement, whether you keep stock height or opt for the maximum +10 mm lift.
The principle is the same across the whole system: each part is designed to fit perfectly — stock-height parts with stock-height parts, raised versions with raised versions — front and rear. Nothing is mixed, resulting in the most complete differential mounting system available for the G8x M2, M3 and M4.
Team Lupos tip:
"Almost every track driver knows about the weak right-hand driveshaft on the F8x; on the G8x there's no escaping it either — the driveshafts take a real beating from the S58, which punishes them... and the left one is no longer spared! So for track use, the Rigid version with the extra point is the minimum, and if you run slicks or super semi-slicks, the full solution is no luxury!"
