Preparing a BMW M3 E36 for the track

Light, simple and well balanced, the M3 E36 remains an excellent school for rear-wheel-drive driving. On a car of this age, track preparation starts with replacing tired rubber components, then making the brakes reliable.

1. Chassis: spherical bearings and geometry

Millway offers the complete suspension for the E36: adjustable top mounts, adjustable camber arms, control arm spherical bearings, solid bushings and solid subframe mounts. For damping: INTRAX, KW Clubsport 2-way or ST.

2. Braking

Pagid RSL1, RSL29, Endless ME20 or Ferodo DS2500 / DS3000 pads depending on your level, Goodridge brake lines and cooling plates.

3. Wheels, safety and maintenance
