The Eventuri BMW E92 M3 carbon intake system is the result of in-depth research and optimisation that improves on what is probably one of the best-designed stock intake systems we have seen. The stock BMW E92 airbox system is a brilliantly designed intake with an excellent flow path and an ambient air feed system.

However, on closer inspection, there are restrictions in the intake tube connecting the airbox to the intake manifold. By redesigning the tube while retaining the airbox, we were able to let the V8 engine breathe with greater efficiency and therefore gain power. In addition to the new tube design, we also identified another restriction in the air feed system.

To overcome this, we designed a scoop to allow increased airflow through the airbox; this further reduces intake air temperatures and increases the system's performance gain.

The Eventuri difference

Eventuri dynamic intake kits comprise the high-flow filter(s), the aluminium covers, the V-band clamp, the laser-cut brackets and the carbon housings themselves. The carbon housings enclose the rear-mounted filter and gently shape the airflow into the intake tubes.

This gradual reduction in cross-section is known as the Venturi effect, where the airflow accelerates while maintaining laminar conditions. It can be thought of as a large velocity stack.
