Millway Rear Toe Arm BMW M3 M4 F80 F82
On M cars since the E9x, and by extension on the F8x, the chassis's stability in corners, or its ability to slide on demand, is directly linked to the rear axle toe settings. The part that determines this is the toe arm.
From the factory, the F8x arm has spherical bearings at both ends, unlike the rest of the range – a very good intention on Munich HQ's part – but the adjustment ranges are limited, and as soon as you go beyond road use you hit those limits. Switching to an adjustable arm is the only solution.
These parts, designed and manufactured by Millway in Sweden, go beyond these limitations with a wide adjustment range and uncompromising choices for durability:
- Lightweight, strong materials (anodised 7075-T6 aerospace aluminium)
- Motorsport-quality spherical bearings
Note that if you want to fit spherical bearings throughout your F8x, you will need 2 pairs (see photo 4); this arm corresponds to ref 90460-1.
To avoid frequent readjustment, consider adding locking shims to your order.
