Front charge cooler radiator ( intercooler) for BMW M G8x series
The S58 engine has a water-cooled charge air cooler combined with a heat exchanger (water radiator) at the front of the car. This radiator cools the water circulating through the charge air cooler, with the water removing heat from the charge air before it enters the engine.
The problem:
On BMW M G8X models powered by the S58 engine, as soon as the car is modified or used on track, the charge air cooling system quickly reaches its limits:
- The engine ingests hot air
- High intake temperatures
- Progressive power loss
- ECU intervention (power reduction, or even limp mode)
The DO88 solution:
