Pair of side charge cooler radiators ( intercooler) for BMW M G8x series
The S58 engine is equipped with a cooling system with three front radiators: a main central radiator and two smaller remote radiators located in front of each wheel. Modified engines generate significantly more heat, making it difficult to maintain optimal engine temperatures during hard driving on road and track.
The problem:
On BMW M G8X models powered by the S58 engine, as soon as the car is modified or used on track, the charge air cooling system quickly reaches its limits:
- The engine ingests hot air
- High intake temperatures
- Progressive power loss
- ECU intervention (power reduction, or even limp mode)
The DO88 solution:
Fortunately, the design space available for the remote radiators allows both the frontal area and the core thickness to be increased on both sides of the car. The do88 radiators are designed as direct replacements for the left and right units.
We sell them in pairs because upgrading only one radiator is not as effective as upgrading both at the same time.
