BMC Air Filter BMW M140i M240i F2x

BMC air filters replace conventional filters in the original airbox, without any modification.

As high-performance models, they allow greater airflow and thus help improve your engine's efficiency through better combustion.

BMC air filters are made from multi-layer cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil and held between two epoxy-coated aluminium meshes to prevent oxidation. Dust and other particles are captured and trapped by the cotton fibres.

For the B58 engine fitted across the current BMW range: M140i M240i F2x among other applications.

Team Lupos' advice:

Plan to clean it every 10,000 to 12,000 km if you use it oiled for daily driving.

For your track car, if you run it dry to get maximum performance, plan to clean it twice a year (or every time you end up in the gravel trap lol)
