BMC Air Filter BMW M3 E46

BMC air filters replace standard filters in the original airbox, with no modification required.

As high-performance filters, they allow a higher airflow and thus help improve your engine's efficiency through better combustion.

BMC air filters are made from multi-layer cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil and held between two epoxy-coated aluminium meshes to prevent oxidation. Dust and other particles are captured and trapped by the cotton fibres.

Tristan's take : "A simple, washable air filter. A bit more sound and a few extra ponies (Shetland ones!), what more could you ask for".
