While the equal-length solution resynchronises the engine's pulses to restore a characteristic 6-cylinder sound, it does not fully address performance. Active Autowerke therefore also offers this Monotube single-pipe design as a compromise: improved sound, but far less restrictive, so performance is properly addressed.

The challenge was to design a larger diameter without any fitting issues or ground contact.

Available in resonated or Race version, connecting pipes included.
