Brembo Pista Big Brake Kit

The outrageous success of its competitor spurred Brembo to rework its design and offer an alternative to AP Racing's dominance of the aftermarket and among small GT manufacturers, so they are back with a caliper worthy of the Brembo logo.

It features the key elements behind the success of the pro5000R:

• Computer optimisation through load modelling
• Weight savings and reduced unsprung mass
• Internal fluid passages
• Single bleed point
• Quick pad changes
• Rigidity

For these big brake kits for the 1M E82, we have selected Brembo Pista calipers, in our view the only alternative to the CP9660, yet at a lower price.
We have also kept the AP Racing 378mm x36mm discs, a component that is fully satisfactory, provides a single source of supply and comes in a size that offers 3 alternatives when it is time to replace the rings.

Kit contents:

• Brembo Pista 6-piston calipers for 18mm pads
• Anodised aluminium bell
• Anodised aluminium bracket
• Assorted fasteners
• AP RACING 378mm x36 mm rings
• Brake lines

Not included: brake fluid and pads

Many brake kits are sold with low-cost pads to make them look like a good deal, but when it comes to braking there is no room for approximation! That is why we prefer to offer you a discount on a range of pads to meet your needs.

Please also note that all kits are designed, sized and optimised to work perfectly with the original ABS and master cylinders; the front kits work with or without a rear kit.

All fit 18" wheels and deliver a weight saving of several kilos in unsprung mass; all discs are floating-mounted (see photos) on high-precision, hard-anodised aerospace aluminium bells for vibration-free driving.

All these kits are manufactured in Europe, 100% new. Allow a lead time of 6 to 10 weeks for the calipers.

The good news from Team Lupos:

"These kits need proper pads, and nobody buys a kit like this by chance, so we won't impose a choice of pads. We will advise you on the best pad for your use".
