Anti-Roll Bar Drop Link Pack BMW M135i M140i F2x
The anti-roll bar drop link is one of those small components that is often overlooked and considered too expensive.
That's because its function is poorly understood:
When the car sits on its wheels, slight differences in height cause the anti-roll bar to push load towards the lower side. With coilovers, you don't want any unwanted load, so this residual tension needs to be cancelled out.
That's the job of the adjustable drop link! Once corner-weighted, or just after a proper alignment, you set the length so that there is no longer any load anywhere on the anti-roll bar.
Specifications:
-Length adjustable
-Stainless steel motorsport rod ends
-Left / right-hand thread
-Made by Team Lupos
-Price for 4 drop links
Team Lupos tip:
"While most people think coilovers are for adjusting ride height, their primary function is actually to allow corner weight adjustment... This adjustment is done with the drop links disconnected; once you reconnect them, unwanted loads are transmitted, and that's where adjustable drop links come in .... !"
