Anti-Roll Bar Drop Link Pack BMW M3 E92
The anti-roll bar drop link is one of those small components that are often overlooked and considered too expensive.
That's because its function is little understood:
When the car is sitting on its wheels, slight differences in height cause the anti-roll bar to transmit loads to the lower side. With coilovers you don't want any parasitic loads, so this residual tension needs to be cancelled out.
That's the job of the adjustable drop link! Once the car has been corner-weighted, or right after a proper alignment, the length is adjusted so that there is no longer any load anywhere on the anti-roll bar.
Specifications:
-Length-adjustable
-Stainless steel motorsport rod ends
-Left / right-hand thread
-Manufactured by Millway in Sweden
-Price for 4 drop links
Team Lupos tip:
"While most people think coilovers are for adjusting ride height, their primary function is actually to allow corner weighting... But corner weighting is done with the drop links disconnected; once you reconnect them, parasitic loads are transmitted, and that's where adjustable drop links come into play .... !"
