Bucket Seat Mounting Plates M2 F87

Before you start... if you want to fit Recaro Pole Position seats, we have a kit specifically dedicated to them here: Custom mounting plates for Pole Position

If you want to fit bucket seats without adapting parts or blindly ordering components from different brands: this is the place!

A seat mount is first and foremost a safety-related component, and that is why we chose this one: there can be no compromise on this point.

The lightening and shape of the components are not chosen arbitrarily, but are based on the results of calculations and numerical load simulations carried out by Speed Engineering. The result is components with just the right weight, fully capable of ensuring your safety if something goes wrong.

The other reason we selected this mounting kit is its alignment with the steering wheel: some billet-machined rails costing a fortune are almost always off-centre relative to the steering wheel, which hampers driving at the door card. The ability to set the seat at the right height to allow for the helmet is also decisive.

Advantages:

• No impossible-to-reach nuts

• Integrated threads
• 4mm steel brackets
• Optimised hole placement
• Height adjustment
• Centred relative to the steering wheel
• Quality fasteners included

Pack contents:

• 1x two-piece seat console (driver or passenger)
• 1x left L-adapter
• 1x right L-adapter
• 1x fastening hardware pack
• Instructions on the product page
• Optional sliders

The assembly is designed so that Recaro rails can also be fitted.

Team Lupos verdict:

"Fitting bucket seats can be a real punishment: you have to buy parts here and there, from different brands, improvise, and there is always a screw missing... there are very few complete, well-engineered and safe solutions. It is because we know the hassle and cost involved that we opted for a solution like this. We recommend fitting sliders for easier installation and for comfort on the road and on track for both occupants"
