When it comes to improving fuel delivery on your N55, the original pump very quickly reaches its limits.

These plug-n-play Dorch Engineering pump kits support approximately 550 and 650 wheel hp respectively (depending on configuration, engine management, ethanol content and tuning strategies).

Both versions have recently been updated with a revised and improved design.

No cutting, no improvising, no hoses to crimp: the kit is complete, fits in place of the original pump and is controlled by the DME, exactly as if it were the factory-fitted pump.

For comparison:

OEM N55 pump: 0.837 Cm3 / rev

Dorch Stage 1 pump: 1.221Cm3/rev

Dorch Stage 2 pump: 1.465 Cm3/rev

(values with original camshafts).

Please note: the engine management must be updated; the options are available with MHD or Bootmed3 – simply tick the boxes for the correct pump version before flashing your map.

Note that, if needed, Dorch engineering will modify your .BIN file to suit your modification, free of charge for all customers.
