Millway Rear Suspension Arm Spherical Bearings BMW M3 E36 E46
When you improve a car's chassis, its tyres and its overall grip, the remaining rubber bushings are subjected to very high stresses.
As well as ageing prematurely, bushings compress and rebound exactly like springs, which undermines the stability of the geometry and sends parasitic feedback, forcing you to make many small steering corrections.
The solution is to switch to a part with spherical bearings. The solution designed and manufactured by Millway in Sweden provides durability and stable geometry thanks to the well-considered choices of the Millway team:
- Light and strong materials (clear-anodised aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminium)
- Durable Motorsport-type spherical bearings
- Fitted to the original arm
Price per pair.
Installation with a press or with spherical bearing installation sleeves
Team Lupos' take:
We are often asked whether spherical bearings are essential. The diplomatic answer is "it depends", but what is certain is that at some point, limiting parasitic movement by eliminating the rubber bushings brings a significant gain... even an essential one, especially when running on slicks.
