Millway Rear Eccentric Spherical Bearings BMW M2 F87
When driving a lowered car, the car's roll centre is altered, increasing the lever arm between it and the centre of gravity. This loads the suspension unnecessarily (see image 3).
The solution is to switch to an eccentric spherical bearing. The solution designed and manufactured by Millway in Sweden provides durability and stable geometry thanks to the well-considered choices of the Millway team:
- Lightweight, strong materials (clear-anodised 7075-T6 aerospace aluminium)
- Durable motorsport-type spherical bearings
- Compatible with M2, all versions
- Fitted to the wheel carrier
Price per pair.
Fit with a press or with spherical bearing installation sleeves
Team Lupos' view:
We are often asked whether fitting spherical bearings will make the car unbearable. In reality, from the E9X through to the G8x, these cars are designed to run on run-flats, the worst for comfort; switching to normal tyres plus spherical bearings is equivalent in terms of ride comfort. But limiting unwanted movement by eliminating the bushings brings a significant gain... even an essential one if you run slicks.
